The Defense Acquisition Innovation Repository (DAIR) is an extensive collection of original research on defense acquisition from American and international acquisition professionals, including military officers and civilian researchers.

  • These holdings are maintained by Acquisition Research Program (ARP). They date back to the program's inception in 2003 and are frequently updated with new material.

  • Through the combined efforts of NPS faculty, students and experts from US universities, think tanks, industry, and government, ARP generates a stream of relevant information on defense acquisition policies and management processes, with viable recommendations for improvement.

DAIR has four collections:

  • Annual Acquisition Research Symposium Proceedings & Presentations

  • NPS Graduate Student Theses & Reports

  • Section 809 Panel: Reports, Recommendations & Resource Library

  • Sponsored Acquisition Research & Technical Reports
