Secretary Del Toro, SECNAV Guest Lecture Series
Secretary Del Toro, who has continually supported our NPS mission, will be on campus to share his remarks as part of the SECNAV Guest Lecture Series.
Students, please be in your seats no later than 1515. Faculty and staff are invited to attend as workload permits.

Unmanned System Tactical Employment Development Workshop
To maximize officer participation, this classified tactical design workshop is intended to be on a not-to-interfere basis with regular class schedules (participate as you are available).
The workshop's objectives are to develop tactical employment concepts for uncrewed and crewed systems in direct support of PROJECT KRAKEN (TS/SCI clearance required) and Hybrid Fleet/EABO/SIF integration (Secret clearance required). Officers from all services with the appropriate clearances are invited to participate as their schedule allows.

The JIFX team leads experimentation in alternative methods to enable rapid technological development by cultivating a community of interest and hosting broadly scoped quarterly collaborative field events that enable DOD, U.S. government, and allied stakeholders to identify, influence, and accelerate early-stage technology development that address national and collective security challenges.
The JIFX program exists to provide an opportunity for NPS faculty, students, private companies, and academia to demonstrate and evaluate new technologies related to the Department of the Navy and the Department of Defense research in an operational field environment, and also to provide the operational community the opportunity to experiment with these technologies to better understand the capabilities that they may represent.
Winter Quarter Pre-Departure Briefing
The Winter Quarter Pre-Departure Briefing will be held from 1215-1300 in the King Hall Auditorium. Attendance is required for all students who are preparing to graduate this quarter.
Winter Quarter Awards Ceremony
Celebrate the achievements of the Winter Quarter Awards Winners! The ceremony begins at 1500 on the Herrmann Hall Quarterdeck, with refreshments following. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Spring Naval AI Summit at NPS
Spring Naval AI Summit at NPS
Date: March 24, 2025 to March 27, 2025
Location: Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey CA
The Naval AI Summit is an important component of the NAVPLAN Implementation Framework, and it will gather AI experts representing the Navy, other military services, defense organizations, stakeholders, students, academic scholars, AI experts, and even some industry pioneers. The goal is to discuss how AI can transform naval capabilities and tackle current maritime challenges. The event will provide a platform for learning about DOD, USN, and USMC platforms and processes for AI systems, for exchanging experiences and ideas regarding practical AI, and for discussing some of the most influential advancements in AI technology for naval applications.

Winter Quarter New Student Orientation
The Winter Quarter New Student Orientation will be held from 0730-1500 in Ingersoll Hall. This is mandatory for all new students.

Join us for the Winter 2025 Commencement Ceremony at 1000 in the King Hall Auditorium. A reception will follow the ceremony in the Barbara McNitt Ballroom.
Meyer Month at NPS
The NPS Meyer Scholars are expanding the popular Meyer Week of recent years to Meyer Month in honor of the Father of AEGIS and NPS distinguished graduate and Hall of Fame member Rear Admiral Wayne E. Meyer. The AEGIS Combat System is the world’s most sophisticated naval combat system and there are almost 200 AEGIS combat systems operating in the navies of the world. Meyer Month seminars will feature world-class combat systems experts explaining the how and why of the AEGIS Combat System.
Date & Time: Meyer Month seminars will be held throughout the month of April at 1200 Monday – Thursday.
Location: Glasgow room 109 and the System Test and Battle Lab (STBL) Glasgow Hall room B018.

NPS International Alumni Symposium : The Americas
"The NPS International Alumni Symposium : The Americas" is an opportunity for our North, Central, and South American Alumni to reconnect with fellow graduates, learn about cutting edge NPS programs, and share and expand their understanding of regional dynamics.
• Keynote remarks by senior leaders will be followed by expert academic and practitioner panel sessions, that encourage life-long learning in the fields of academic research, technological innovation, and strategic studies.
• The program provides opportunities to develop and sustain relationships among the NPS alumni attendees, as well as offering continued exposure to U.S. military and government institutions, and those of our partner and allied nations.
• A concurrent spouses’ program and cultural programming offered through the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation and Alumni Association.
• US Alumni are welcome to apply; however, if accepted, they must fund their own participation.
